EDO Mae Sushi in Owings Mills

I love their california rolls! They are the only place I found that doesnt put cucumber in their cali rolls and I love that about them. They are always super friendly and greet you when you walk in.

Freshest most flavorful sushi I have had...

A real Japanese sushi place. Everything I have ever had there is fresh and tasty. They do not cover their sushi in all those mayo sauces. They let their sushi speak for itself. The place and the bathroom are very clean.

Quality of service is always fantastic and the sushi is always fresh and delicious.

This might be one of the best restaurants in Owings Mills, in my opinion. The food is excellent for the price, which is not too costly. They have good customer service, and the staff are very friendly. If you love sushi this is a must-try!

Not only is the sushi and food here consistently delicious, but the people are wonderful! Thank you to Angel who is very generous and treats me and family so well! My boyfriend and I have been ordering pick up from them for over 2 years now (just realized I never wrote a review). Customer service is great and the sushi there is soo good. You definitely get a good amount of food with great quality for the price. I have to stop myself from ordering too much because I get too excited lol😅 Definitely recommend!

My daughter takes after her mother in this light. She loves California Rolls. I never had them so I cannot give an adequate review of this restaurant. But judging by the way my wife and daughter love for this establishment's sushi I would say this is a good place to eat.

In shock right now. Normally the sushi, and services are great. But the meat in this chicken Pad Thai is horrific. Its slimy, elastic mystery meat.

The quality and presentation was wonderful! I travel all over the US and get sushi - definitely high quality. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is I felt prices were not optimal. I do not mind paying for quality and I have paid more for sushi of this caliber, but I asked for jalapeno on a roll and they charged me $1 for a few thin slices of jalapenos. Really? They should never charge for a request like that.I would recommend this place and will most likely return next time I am in town.

Been coming here since we moved to Maryland. Sushi is always great. I love that they have wonton soup too, something not a lot of sushi restaurants serve. Oh, and the wonton soup is top notch! I can honestly say some of the best I’ve ever had. Servers are attentive. Food usually comes out quick. I wouldn’t recommend coming on a Friday or Saturday night though as you may be waiting long periods of time when it comes to waiting for them to take your order, bring your food, or bring the check. During the week though? No problem!!

The quality is going down. Maybe I'm used to how it was before. But when I used to get the Una Don, I'd get the eel filet over a nice bowl of rice. Now I get the left over nigiri pieces on a plate. Maybe it helps with their profit margin. It's $18 and looks nothing like the menu picture.Stick with tempura if you're not getting sushi. Yummy yummy all in my tummy.The salmon avocado is the best.The volcano rolls are pretty good too.The rainbow roll and spider roll are delish. And I love that you can carry out.

Only reason we went here was more than an hour wait to get into Bonefish Grill. Not so stellar, should have gone to J&Y.Response to EdoMae: Sorry, not the wrong review. 4 years ago I visited EdoMae and was quite happy with the offerings. This recent visit found the Chirashi with lackluster rice that did not stick together and various fish that seemed rather rinsed out with an unexpected texture, bland, possibly having been frozen. Even tomago seemed a bit too wet and cold. I guess we just visited on the wrong night.

EdoMae is your standard sushi place taken up exactly one notch. You get a decent atmosphere, warm hand towels, aluminum chop sticks and flavorful food. This is reflected in the price, with some rolls costing as much as four dollars higher than other local competitors (which there are many). Its a nice place to go if you know what sushi you like, but too expensive to roll the dice on an experiment you may not like.

We are regulars here and love it!! Always amazing service. Best sushi and ramen/udon soups.

Always great food. Love their Salmon and Ell nigiri. They make great hand rolls, but you have to know to ask for them. The lobster tempura roll is great, add cream cheese and taste is outstanding.

As soon as I walked in the door i felt bad vibes. I didn't know where to place an order to go. Finally found an employee who seemed disappointed and apprehensive to greet us. I asked where to order to go. And started to yell "go over there". Probably too many people of color for to handle. Should have left on that note. But I wanted to give it a try. So I never could seem to order because the local favorites/clicksters kept coming in, getting a nice warm greetings, a hug/kisses and getting in front the line. So we just left and went straight to wegmans!! Will never step foot in an establishment that doesn't serve and treat everyone the same!! If I could I would give negative 10 stars!!
